In android, what's the most common data struture to store a list of friends' contact, phone book?

is it preferences? or file system?

Thank you for your reply.
But, every phone has their own phone book and should be accessible even without network connection.
So is it good to use SQLite database?

You don't need a network connection to access an SQLite Database... it's literally just a database you create that sits within the scopes of your application

The SQLite Database is just on your phone, not the server side.
