ViewAnimator help...

Postby bruack » Fri Aug 28, 2009 5:00 am

Hi,

I'm very new to Android development, and I'm working with my XML layout. I'm trying to get these two images to slide in (one from "above the screen" to the bottom of the layout, and the other from "below the screen" to the bottom of the layout). I'm trying to use the premade android animation resources, and it's giving me 2 errors, saying that it doesn't know what they are. Any help would be appreciated, as well as any suggestion on how else I should be doing simple animations like this.

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using xml Syntax Highlighting
  1. <ViewAnimator
  2.
  3.         android:layout_height="fill_parent"
  4.
  5.         android:id="@+id/landing_page_1_ground_2_animator"
  6.
  7.         android:layout_width="fill_parent"
  8.
  9.         android:layout_gravity="bottom"
  10.
  11.         android:inAnimation="@android:res/anim/push_down_in">
  12.
  13.
  14.
  15.         <ImageView
  16.
  17.                 android:layout_width="fill_parent"
  18.
  19.                 android:id="@+id/landing_page_1_ground_2"
  20.
  21.                 android:layout_height="wrap_content"
  22.
  23.                 android:src="@drawable/landing_page_1_ground_2"
