TextView and ListView layout

Postby Re-Li70 » Mon Nov 30, 2009 4:54 pm

Hi everybody,
I'm looking for a way to have a text and a list in the same view, such as in the image below (in the first image, the default view, in the second the view after some scrolling):

I already have the Orange part (the list), what I'm missing is the green one.
This is what I have at the moment, just the ListvView inside a LinearLayout

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using xml Syntax Highlighting
  1. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
  2.
  3.
  4.
  5. <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
  6.
  7.         android:orientation="vertical"
  8.
  9.         android:layout_width="wrap_content"
  10.
  11.         android:layout_height="wrap_content">
  12.
  13.
  14.
  15. <ListView android:id="@+id/list"
  16.
  17.         android:layout_width="wrap_content"
  18.
  19.         android:layout_height="wrap_content"/>
  20.
  21.
  22.
  23.
  24.
  25. </LinearLayout>
Parsed in 0.002 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

I've tried using a Tab view with just a tab, but the result looks really ugly. I also tried using a simple TextView, but the textview doesn't show up.

Thanks to both of you for the answer :)

I used the second proposed layout, and it worked fine (I laughed loud when I saw that even the colors were like my image  )

Thank you!
