save state webview

Postby progger » Tue Aug 25, 2009 4:05 pm

Hi all,

if open the keyboard or close it my application starts new with onCreate().

I found two methods that are called if I open or close the keyboard.

Syntax: [ Download ] [ Hide ]
Using java Syntax Highlighting
  1.
  2.     protected void onSaveInstanceState(Bundle savedInstanceState){
  3.
  4.         super.onSaveInstanceState(savedInstanceState);
  5.
  6.     }
  7.
  8.
  9.
  10.     @Override
  11.
  12.     protected void onRestoreInstanceState(Bundle state){
  13.
  14.         super.onRestoreInstanceState(state);
  15.
  16.     }
  17.
  18.
Parsed in 0.013 seconds, using GeSHi 1.0.8.4

what do I have to write into these methods to save my state and open it again?
e.g.: I'm on the Google Webpage but by open the keyboard the WebView loads the Homepage of the WebView (like www.wikipedia.com) but I want still have the Google page.

Hope anyone has a suggestion.

Thanks...
