Returning focus to UI from background service

Postby zschallz » Mon Dec 07, 2009 1:00 am

Hi. Is it possible for a background service to force the app's UI back into focus? I haven't seen any applications that have done this, and my application needs to show a confirmation when an event is detected from the sensors in the background. (when the phone is dropped or the user falls/has an accident)

Does anyone know whether or not this is possible?

Thank you.
