Thanks a lot for all the posts.. it's been a huge help. Since my company decided to start developing android app I've been getting a lot of help here.

Could you please upload working sample project with Progress Bar and/or Progress Bar Dialog?

It seems to me that all the tutorials are old and have some bugs. Or if you could point me to the tutorial I can download the source code from.

just look into API demos app/AlertDialogSamples... there u can see whole example of progress dialog.
