posting a form using webview

Postby anurahim » Mon Apr 27, 2009 7:51 am

how can we POST a web page containing form to an action url using Web view?

i want to make the post action using the web view not to load the action url with the hidden values.
I want to run the web view hidden or invisible.. that user should not see the web page.

how can I do this?

thanks in avdance

Why not just use URLConnection or HttpClient to post the data? That way you don't have to involve a WebView at all.

HI,
I used DefaultHttpClient but the thing is, it is redirecting some other web page after submitting.

I have to submit two pages, the second page is redirecting to some other page. but this is working well with browsers. I have set all the cookies and headers still the problem is not solved.
