PlayerDriver error

Postby wrothgar » Wed Feb 03, 2010 1:39 am

Hello all. This site has been a great help so thank you to everyone that contributes.

I am very new to Android programming and have been working on an application to learn the basics of soundpool and android in general. I got it working correctly so that it will play a different sound based on the object I move. My application is working when I use some very small test files (i.e. 22kb wav files). But now I want to put in some actual music (2 to 2.5 meg wav files). When I do I am getting an error that says "Command PLAYER_INIT completed with an error or info PVMFErrNotSupported".

Is there a file size limit? Is the limitation I am running into just part of the emulator? Can I get around it with the emulator? I do not currenly have an android device to test on so I really need the emulator if it is at all possible.

Thanks for any advice or help you can offer.
