PING’s proprietary high-balance-point TFC 169D shaft creates a higher MOI and generates faster ball speeds enabling golfers to swing a club head with more mass at the same speed, for longer, straighter drives. Designed specifically for the ping g20 pink driver, the TFC 169D is a lightweight graphite shaft which gives higher swing speeds for higher launch and low spin, with a livelier, more responsive feel and a softer tip for increasing dynamic launch.
The large 460cc club head is made from a lighter, lower-density titanium alloy with a high strength-to-weight ratio which allows additional weight to be re-positioned to increase the MOI on both the vertical and horizontal axes. An external weight optimisms the centre of gravity position to generate high launch and low spin to give both distance and accuracy, while weight savings from varying wall thicknesses in the crown and body are positioned to optimize performance and durability. The variable-thickness face generates faster ball speeds and increased MOI for maximum forgiveness.
The size and shape of the longer head look much better than the PING G20 irons cheap and the sound and feel at impact were excellent and the ball took off on a slightly higher but more penetrating trajectory than the TaylorMade RocketBladez Irons. The G20 driver also comes with Ping's own TFC 169D shafts that seem a little more stable than in the past thanks to the higher kick point and feels quite powerful. There is also a Tour version of the shaft that will give you a lower trajectory and this will be excellent for those with higher swing speeds, so make sure you get custom fitted as the combination of shaft and loft will be important.
A game improvement golf clubs for sale for all handicap golfers with high launch and carry characteristics and a large, thin face, the G20 Pink Driver has been adopted by Tour stars like Bubba Watson, Angel Cabrera and Miguel Angel Jimenez and if it’s good enough for them.
