Overriding default layout of contacts screen

Postby kawaiijetta » Wed Jan 06, 2010 4:18 pm

I would like to place a checkbox next to every contact in the default contact screen. I already have the data storage worked out to save the checkbox result with a SQLite database, it's just getting the checkbox to appear next to the contact name that I have to work out. Is it possible to modify the row layout for the "Contacts" application that comes with the phone, or do I have to write my own application? If it's possible, can anyone either provide me some source code or point me to an example? Thanks to all!
