[Help] - Needed widgets don´t fit in layout

Postby Rui Goncalves » Sun Nov 01, 2009 3:50 am

Hi there!

I'm trying to create a UI but the widgets that are needed doesn't fit in the AbsoluteLayout of DroidDraw. I've also tried with ScrollView but I can't put the elements in the position I desire.

Can anyone give me some help?

Thanks in advance,
Best regards!

What are you trying to position on your screen that will not fit? Remember that you are working on a screen for a phone and not a computer!! Because of the inherent limitation involved with the size of a phone, you have to be very judicious and creative when designing your widgets for your application. If your widgets cannot fit on one screen, try and use multiple activities to achieve a goal, or scroll down to get more screen space... it sounds like maybe you are not making your screens simple enough for a phone... read the following...
