I was wondering if there is anything that sets the priority for views on what overlaps what. I searched for quite some time and could not find anything related to the subject. Thanks in advance.

In the xml layouts, the widgets you but at the end of the file will be on top, and those that are at the beginning of the file will stay at the bottom.

It's like adding sheets of paper to a stack. The latest will be visible 100%, but those underneath not

Ya, I'm sorry. I found that out a couple of days ago. I should have posted it. I was kind of thinking that order mattered because I know you can't reference anything that hasn't been declared in the XML at that time, sequentially speaking. But, if you put something at the end, you can reference everything anyway. Thanks.
