internationalization of strings...

Postby atrus123 » Tue Nov 04, 2008 6:50 pm

I'm currently working to add international variations to my app by using the values-en-rUK/ method, but I'm not sure how to test them. Is there some way in the emulator or the phone to mimic being in the UK or some other country?

I18n is not really supported at the moment. And as far as I know it's not possible to change the locale of the emu. You could use the real G1 image in the emu (it's somewhere in the news section I believe) and there you can set some location details, not sure if it reflects on the strings being loaded.

Hmm... too bad about the lack of support. I guess I'll just have to try it and see what happens.

Thanks for the help!
