Replacing empty ink cartridges may not be one of the most economical ideas, especially if you are dealing with the hp 22 or hp 21 ink cartridge. One can find kits to refill these empty cartridges, which not only save memory, but also bring down the wastage.

For those who worried about the complexity of the refilling process, the good news is that it hardly takes few minutes, and minimal efforts to refill the ink. Here are simple steps to refill the HP 21 ink cartridge.

Firstly, get rid of the HP label from the top of the ink cartridge (which is kind of sticker that bears the cartridge number). Now, prepare a small area for replacing the ink, so that things don’t get too messy, and may be cleaned up easily as and when required. It is advisable to place old newspapers or paper towels for this purpose.

You are now ready to remove the disposable gloves (you get them along with the ink refill kit), and place a glove on each hand so as to prevent your hands being stained during refilling process.

Now, assemble the syringe, by connecting the needle (provided with the ink refill kit), firmly to the top of the syringe. Next, get rid of the cap, and press the syringe into the ink. You need to pull back the plunger to draw more ink, and fill up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the full capacity. Replace the HP sticker over the refill holes, and place the cartridge back into its position.

Thatis it ?you are ready to print a test page now! hp21,hp22
