Error messages problem

Postby williamzanelli » Fri Feb 06, 2009 2:47 am

Hi guys,

I was wondeing if someone could tell me how to enable debugging,

My problem is the emulator exits the application, but it doesnt tell me where the problem was.. how do I enable this..? [something like the Java console that says, line 21 is missing a ";", or Exception on line xyz.. - in these instances I know exactly where to look for problems...] -

thanks for your thoughts.

For stepping you should make a breakpoint in Eclipse, using ctrl-shift-b, and then run->debug.

You can view the log message in the ddms perspective of Eclipse or from the command line, in android/tools, type 'adb logcat'.
