use list to diaplay items in a row..

xml:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout android:id="@id/android:empty"
android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="80px"
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">
<TextView android:id="@+id/text1" android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_alignParentLeft="true" android:layout_marginLeft="10px"
android:layout_marginTop="10px" android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
<TextView android:id="@+id/text2"
android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_marginTop="10px"
android:layout_marginRight="10px"
android:layout_marginLeft="10px" android:layout_below="@+id/text"
android:text="" android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
<ProgressBar android:id="@+id/progress"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"/>
</RelativeLayout>

set this view in the list adapter.
