Hey guys, this is my 1st post but this forum has helped me through a few problems so thank you.

I currently have a little problem, I would like to call a method with a parameter passed to it and for an image to be displayed full screen depending on the parameter. The only problem I'm having is, I have no idea how to display the image. I have tried various methods but still have not managed to have a working program.

I know this is probably the most simple thing to do, and I have experience in Java, but I just cannot get it to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For displaying image, requires "ImageView" widget in layout

ImageView iv = (ImageView)findViewById(R.id.myImage);

iv.setImageResource(R.drawable.pict);
