Callaway Golf says it will be unleashing more power and performance in 2010 with its latest discount callaway edge fairway woodlaunching later this month. The new range of drivers, fairway woods and hybrids plus the new Diablo Edge game improvement irons will build on the existing success of the Diablo Forged iron, says the Chessington-based company.
Callaway Staff professional and the European Tour’s longest driver, Alvaro Quiros, is the face of the new Diablo Edge range and has already experienced the extra speed and power of the Diablo Edge Tour driver, which together with the standard version is expected to be available for £249.
Its head is made ultra-thin four-piece titanium with aerodynamics helping generate higher ball speeds and its 'chemically-milled face making it more forgiving.'
The golf clubs for sale Diablo Edge Tour model features a smaller, 450 cc conventional head shape, full length hosel, deeper and more forward centre of gravity to generate the more penetrating trajectory skilled golfers prefer and will have a one-degree more open clubface compared to the standard model.
Callaway, which reveals its new range at next week's PGA Merchandise trade show in Orlando, says the Callaway Diablo Edge Driver gives better players the chance to control and shape their tee shots on demand.
The Diablo Edge standard driver is available in 9-, 10-, 11- and 13-degree lofts as well as a draw version.
