Blurred Black Background while I Scroll my List

Postby abhsax130778 » Wed Aug 19, 2009 1:46 pm

I have developed an activity using the following layout:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<!--

OR
CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied. See the License
for
the specific language governing permissions and limitations under
the

<TextView android:id="@+id/titlebar2" android:layout_width="320px"
android:layout_height="40px" android:background="@drawable/banner2"
android:adjustViewBounds="true"
android:gravity="center_vertical"
android:paddingLeft="20dip"
android:textAppearance="?android:attr/
textAppearanceMedium"
40px
/>
-->
<TableLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/
android"
android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:background="@drawable/
splash">
<TableRow android:paddingTop="0px">

<ImageView android:id="@+id/titlebar" android:layout_width="320px"
android:layout_height="40px" android:src="@drawable/banner"
android:adjustViewBounds="true"

/>
</TableRow>
<TableRow android:paddingTop="0px">
<ListView android:id="@+id/subuilist" android:layout_height="356px"
android:layout_width="320px"

/>
</TableRow>
<TableRow android:paddingBottom="0px">
<ImageButton android:id="@+id/basebar2" android:src="@drawable/
basebar"
android:layout_width="320px" android:layout_height="40px"
android:adjustViewBounds="true"

/>
</TableRow>
</TableLayout>

Clearly This will have a title bar, a bottom bar and a scrolling list
in between. The Top bar is image and the bottom bar is an ad bar
ImageButton clicking on which a browser will launch using a predefined
URL.

Now when I scroll the list, the list goes black. It is visible with
the image background and the items on clicking on it.

Please help me find a solution.
Thanks and regards

Respects

I have found that this blur happens when the background image or color is there, but that is the decoration of my app. So this is the Android Bug and not the fault in my application, other wise there may be some solution.

I you have gone through situation as this and found out a solution, please help.

Use This:

Listview.setCacheColorHint(00000000);

in Android 1.5

Oh Thanks but I am using background Image and I want to deploy the application in all the build version releases.

And I should mention that on the clicking on the background image or on dragging the list I find that the items in the list that are text are getting black background (default color of font is black) and Icons remain the same.

This must also be happening in the default list, and so one cannot see the difference there.
Thanks and regards
