AutoCompleteTextView item position

Postby fataki » Mon Feb 15, 2010 12:03 pm

I have an ArrayAdapter with ArrayList of custom objects set to a AutoCompleteTextView, and it works fine.

OnItemClickListener tied to the AutoCompleteTextView also works, but the position isn't the items absolute position in the original ArrayList. It is the position in the list of objects currently visible to the user.

When user clicks an object in the autocomplete list, I wan't to know exactly which of my custon objects (position in the ArrayList) was clicked. How can I achieve this?

Thank you.
