Apply animation to only one view in a viewgroup?

Postby sandis84 » Thu Aug 13, 2009 12:23 pm

So I have a LineraLayout that currently contains one ImageView. I want to add another ImageView, but I want it to slide into the screen with a nice animation. The problem is that I fail to only apply this animation to the new ImageView, instead it is applied to all the layouts children. One possible solution is to add a new layout the my LinearLayout, and then use the animation when adding the new ImageView to this new layout. But if I could avoid that I would not need to add all those redudant layouts. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any help.
