Android Equivalent of iPhone's UIPickerView

Postby P1000 » Thu Feb 18, 2010 11:29 pm

I would like to use a UIPickerView in my Android app's UI. I want to make the user experience as good as possible, and the UIPickerView is great. I also want to keep the user experience between the Android version of my app and the iPhone version reasonably similar.

I have gathered that there is no UIPickerView equivalent (other than the Spinner, which is not close enough) in the Android library, so I was wondering if anybody knows of an open source implementation of a UIPickerView for Android.

PS: Somebody should make a library of all the best, most common UI features from all the phones so that porting between phones does not necessitate redesigning the user experience.
