Put problem concerning Views, Layouts and other XML-Resources (like AndroidManifest) here.

Accessing a INT from a dialog box?

Postby p0lar » Thu Feb 26, 2009 12:07 am

In my about screen I would like to access a changing int variable in a global.java file that SVN updates on commit. I am already accessing the program version in the about dialog with "PackageManager.GET_ACTIVITIES).versionName" but that reads a static number that in the AndroidManifest.xml that I change by hand. is there any way to access "int" var's inside a dialog box to get a dynamic update of that version number in the dialog?

Thanks
