Can we have 2D and 3D graphics co-exist on the same screen?
From J2ME experience i know 3D takes the whole screen. In Android, is it possible to have both 2D and 3D on the same view?

Any help is appreciated.

Haven't tried it, but it would probably require you to divide the surface into seperate regions for 2d and 3d drawing. SurfaceHolder.setFixedSize() would be useful for that. But it might have severe impact on the performance as the engine has to switch between 2d and 3d drawings.
