XML Content Assist on Android UI Layout Throws NullPointer

Postby jbs » Wed May 20, 2009 5:39 am

I'm just trying to use Content Assist in a Android UI XML file and getting back a java.lang.NullPointerException. It does this no matter which android project or workspace the project is in.

eclipse.buildId=M20090211-1700
java.version=1.6.0_12
java.vendor=Sun Microsystems Inc.
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86, WS=win32, NL=en_US
Command-line arguments: -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86 -data C:\Users\jbs36\workspace-android4

bump.

I am having this problem too. Additionally I have another message tha tis peculiar. When viewing the layout tab of my main.xml, I see "Eclipse is loading framework information and the Layout library from the SDK folder. main.xml will refresh automatically once the process is finished."

I have cross posted this issue here:
http://groups.google.com/group/android- ... 7c533f12f4

I need an answer yesterday so any help would be great.
