Hi,

I uploaded a signed apk file on web server.when i try to download it through Gphone browser it successfully download but when i install it it says "Application can not installed".

and when i m hitting the same url from emulator it download and install perfectly.

Can somebody tell me why I m getting the problem in case of mobile ?

Go to settings --> Applications

and select the checkbox "Unknown Sources".This is to install non-Market Applications.

I already done it in to phone.but still getting "Application not installed" error.I signed it by a self private key with the help of keytool.
