Before I get too involved in setting things up, I wanted to ask people familiar with testing accelerometer dependent apps with the emulator. My only requirement is to identify if the phone has been shaken, in case that matters.

From what I have read, seems like OpenIntent's SensorSimulator seems like the best approach, but since my only intention is to identify if the phone has been shook, I was wondering if there was a simpler way.

I setup OpenIntents and it was very easy. Also very easy to say I just want to test shaking the phone vs. the roll.
