[Solved] Restore the original emulator

Postby ftorte » Thu Dec 27, 2007 4:22 pm

Dear All,

I have a problem with my emulatore, some applicaitons like the Contact dont work anymore.
So I want to restart with a clean adroid emulator configuraiton with only the default application.

I deleted the current SDK and reinstalled a new one but it seams that a copy of the emulator is stored somewhere.

Do you know how to rebuild a clean configuraiton?

Regards

I deleted C:\Documents and Settings\myusername\Local Settings
\Application Data\Android\userdata.img and the emulator is working
again.

Hello ftorte,

you could achieve the same effect with the following:
[align=center]Start the emulator once with "-wipe-data" on Additional Cmd-Line-Options:

For linux users: delete /home/username/.android/userdata.img
(Incase -wipe-data doesn't succeed..?)
