Hi,

I have developed a browser application. I have made the proxy settings against settings.db as suggested in one of the posts. After this, i am able to browse external URL from the standard browser provided by android.
But from my browser application there is an error.

It says "Web Page Not Available".

Any idea why is this?
Is there any setting i am missing which is causing this issue?

hi I also have the same problem...

I am connecting to net using the default browser provided by android but can not get connected to internet through my application... I have also given the user permission to internet for the application.

But I couldnt.. Can some solve my problem???

If u are behind a proxy or something.
1)go to settings
2)wireless control
3)Mobile control
4)use 2g network
5)access point names
6)edit the access point fill up the necessary details.
and u are done.
