Code: Select all
Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.google.android.xmppService/com.google.android.xmppService.XmppSettings}:java.lang.NullPointerException.

This situation repeats when I try to load browser,or my software(An error has occurred in org.tutorial.tut.java.Lang.NullPointerException.)

Hey guys,

yes, deleting the Emulator-Image (userdata.img) should do the job. (Probably a emulator-start with "-wipe-data"-Option will make it too)

Issue had been handled once before (see also for where to type "-wipe-data").

Yes -> I had the same problem so I've done in the dos shell emulator.exe -wipe -data and then all was fine. Bevor the emulator was standing at the "red knight rider" ball.
Deleting the Emulator image userdata.img wasn't deleted from me.

I've herad that this problem could also come from 2 different connections ethernet to wifi and back so the emulator could do the same effect, too

Really wish i'd found this place sooner, i was tearing my hair out over a fix for this. I deleted C:\Documents and
Settings/<loginname>/Local Settings/Application Data/
Android/userdata.img , now it works. ^_^
