Internet Connection

Hello...
Im not able to connect to internet through Android Emulator....
Ive set uses-permission tag also...
After waiting for some time i get the msg as The operation has timed out...What could be the problem..
Can anyone please help ?

Have you tested the browser app inside your emulator? If he can load websites, the reason must be inside your application.
