I am having trouble with my eclipse plug in. It seems to work very very slow in my PC. So i am opt to use the terminal instead. whenever I run ddms in the terminal it shows the following:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/android/ddmlib/DebugPortManager$IDebugPortProvider
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.android.ddmlib.DebugPortManager$IDebugPortProvider

at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:188)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:306)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:251)
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:319)

What is the meaning of these errors? Somebody help me pls...
tnx in advance..

Are you running the ddms.bat from the android/tools directory?

Ensure that your android/tools/lib directory contains ddms.jar

If neither of these solves the issue, check what version of java is set in your paths at the command line? You can check by running java -version. You should be running at least 1.5.
