[Tips]How to Transfer iTunes movies to Nook Tablet

As a full-featured android tablet, the Nook Tablet offers up a vibrant 7-inch IPS display. The e-book-friendly tablet really rocks for watching movies. You can start the fun right away with Netflix and Hulu Plus pre-loaded to instantly watch HD movies & popular TV shows. However, things turn to be different when you tried to play iTunes movies on Nook Tablet. Don't fret! Here I'm sharing my experience to those who feel like transferring iTunes videos to Nook Tablet for enjoying.

As far as I know, the TV episodes, movies, and music videos from iTunes are protected by using Apple's FairPlay DRM copyright protection. So the most important piece of the equation is that you have a DRM removal software hooked to your Mac or Windows which strips DRM from iTunes.

Of course, I'm not about to pay ridiculous prices to buy movies and TV shows for Nook Tablet I already own on iTunes. Instead, I'll just convert these iTunes m4v movies to a Nook Tablet friendly format. If you are interested in doing likewise, check out Pavtube's ChewTune, a top iTunes to Nook Tablet Converter which can easily handle iTunes DRM-protected videos and Windows Media DRM contents included with the Blu-ray/DVD Digital Copies. And the playback of the converted videos is as decent as possible as original. Now follow the steps below to put iTunes videos onto Nook Tablet.

Guide - Convert and Sync iTunes movies to Nook Tablet

Note: For Windows users, just follow the detailed guide to finish your work about converting iTunes movies to Nook Tablet. For Mac users, you can follow the iTunes m4v Converter for Mac to finish your work on Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Mountain Lion(10.8) etc.

Step 1. Free Download and run the iTunes Converter for Nook Tablet and import your iTunes files (movies or TV shows) to the program.

Step 2. Choose output profile for Nook Tablet playing in full screen. Here I recommend you "Android > Nook Tablet(*.mp4)" , which is a format specially designed for Nook Tablet also supplies full screen effect.

Step 3. After above steps, just click "Convert" to start removing iTunes DRM protection and converting iTunes M4V to Nook Tablet MP4. The conversion proceeds as iTunes plays the movies. So DO NOT turn off iTunes until the conversion is completed. Now go get a cup of coffee (conversion takes time).

The software works like most other DRM removal softwares I've used. The difference here is you'd better set iTunes not to remember the playback position. Here's way to go: Launch iTunes, and switch to Movies under LIBRARY. Select the videos you'd like to convert, right click to select Get Info -> Options -> Remember position -> No -> OK.

Once the process completes, download and transfer the DRM-free iTunes videos to Nook Tablet. Then you are free to enjoy and watch iTunes movies on Nook Tablet as you like.

Hot News: Pavtube's 'Spring Sale' kicked off this week on select PC and Mac software. If you have an iPad/Android tablet like Asus Transformer Prime, Nook Tablet, or PS Vita, HP TouchPad, PlayBook etc. And want to enjoy watching movies on the road, the offers could be right what you want.
