How to clean the /sdcard folder on emulator

Postby littledot5566 » Fri Mar 04, 2011 3:40 pm

Hi anddev, is there any possible way to wipe an Android emulator's /sdcard folder clean in DDMS? I'm using Eclipse with ADT.

I want to edit and delete folders inside it. I've tried going through terminal shell from the emulator, adb shell from cmd, file explorer in eclipse, but it always returns permission denied.

Is it because we can only manage folders from inside the application? Like how External Storage in ApiDemos does it? Wipe data is cool for /data and /system, but it doesn't wipe /sdcard.

Thanks in advance.
