How to activate net in android emulator

Hi..

I am trying to activate net in android emulator, i am working behind proxy ,so i tried

http://<username>:<password>@<machineName>:<port> this while starting emulator, but no use.

Any other way to activate the net.

did you try to add internet permissions in you manifest.xml ?
