How can I distinguish tow differnt apks?

Postby zeany » Thu Dec 02, 2010 2:23 am

Hi,

As you know, there is android:debuggable option in AndroidManifest.xml.
Let's suppose I made two apks. one is debuggable="true", and the other is debuggable="false".

If the two apks' names are same, how can I distinguish two apks?
I mean, is there any way to study some apk using some tools or so?

Thanks

Yeah just open it with winrar then open your manifest file and read it :-)

I found the AndroidManifest.xml in the apk was encrypted.
but, your reply gave me a hint, and I found one answer.

download aapt.exe from http://qtadb.wordpress.com
> aapt d xmltree Target.apk AndroidManifest.xml

anyway, thanks for your help.
