How can I learn more about NMS (network Monitoring System), especially for GSM networks? I need to learn more about how to manage a GSM network without having to visit the network elements mself. I imagine there would be some equipment added (inside the equipment room) in each location of the GSM sites, and this new equipment will send data through the MW links. Whats the terminal point? where will the data be collected and how?
