I have tried running the android samples provided by the sdk and also this simple 'Hello Android' program but the emulator is not showing any result. It starts with this 'Android___' written over the emulator and after
few seconds it shows a moving red dot which seems to be a kind of screensaver for the phone. I have tried restarting eclipse quite a few times. (Normally this is the first bug-source, lol)
Every single time I try, it hangs up there (actually not hanging, because the dot is still moving...)

Need help, I'm getting crazy

The moving red dot is not the screensaver. it is the loading Main-App!

Your Eclipse-Console should say sth. like that:

On some computers this can take a lot more Time !!!
So perhaps you'll just have to wait some seconds (hopefully not minutes ).
