What next?

I really dont understand why :

1. the sdk dosnt come with a up to date list of pre configured AVD's

2. I cant find anywhere to download a list of AVD's

3. Theres all these hello world tuts but,they dont go over this ...unless im missing something.



I dont only want a working AVD but, id like to know a little about this
...How do i know my phones preferences?(the cliq)

How do i know if a app will work on all android phones? Why wouldnt google just give u pre configured AVDs ?


This is really slowing me down tonight , if anyone has even a simple answer/solution it really be appreciated

This should get you started with your avd.

search for "Creating an AVD" on that page.
They did not add all the avds because it depends on what the user wants. since there are different versions and new versions keep coming out, it is more convenient to let the users decide what version they need.
I never worked with individual phone preferences so i am not commenting on that part.
hope this gets you started.
