Hey, I'm just starting to learn how to use the Android SDK, so I started trying out the "Hello, Android" example to start off. Here's my problem: I can open the main.xml file the first time fine in a new project, but every time I go to open it a second time, Eclipse closes instantly. Even if I re-open Eclipse, it will close again if I try to open the main.xml file. If I create a new project, I can open that main.xml file once.... I'm thinking it might just be my computer.

Can anyone suggest what might be happening? Thanks

What version of Eclipse are you using? are you using Windows, Mac OS or Linux?

Reinstall Eclipse.
