I've had a search around the forums but I can't seem to find any information on what I am trying to do. I hope someone can clarify the position for me.

When I pass a location into the emulator via DDMS, the getSpeed() method on the Location always appears to return 0 m/s. Is this always the case, or is there a way to pass a speed value in with the geo location?

I'm between handsets at the moment so can't tell if this is a GPS thing or DDMS.
