Can not Watch a Variable on Elicpse debugger

Postby Andriod-Berry » Thu Mar 20, 2008 9:08 pm

Hi There,

I have posted this issue on Android forum, So bad, no body answer me

The issue is, when I set a breakpoint and stop at the line, I want to check a variable content by using eclipse
Inspect or watch,

"Evaluations must contain either an
expression or a block of well-formed statements"

Does it not support this function or I miss something?

I install my ADT plug-in according to android instruction step by step,

If I try to debug a Java-application, It works fine.

Please help me~
:P

Hi Andriod-Berry, did you find the way to do this ?
I have faced the same problem .

There are a couple of variables that I need to watch in debug time, but they are simply not shown. I can see some other variables, so I don't understand why the thing works with some of them and does not with others.

Regards,

I think we all have the same issues with the new rc14-rc15. Althought, I was able to watch anything under older release. Another way to watch values on debug mode is use the Variables windows but you have to do some navigate.
