My first program, a ticker like the Banner app for iPhone.
It supports different fonts, colors and scrolling speeds.

I would like to hear what features you want to have for the next version, and I need to know if it works on your device as well as on the emulator.

OpenGL ?

It doesn't use OpenGL, just a canvas (don't know if this stuff is displayed with OpenGL internally).
I recommend looking at the examples coming with the Android SDK, especially the snake example which helped me a lot.
