it basically seems to work, but fails when switching to LandScape mode, where one can type sth.
You should use different Layouts for Landscape and Portrait-Modes. To do so, create
two folders:

Code: Select all

/res/layout-land
/res/layout-port

instead of just

Code: Select all

/res/layout

Also you should save the state of your app in onSaveInstanceState and load it back in onCreate. That happens when the users swiches the keyboard in and out (the orientations are changed).

thanks! im just not exactly sure what is the saveInstanceState and where should i implement it.

Also for the two folders, do i just create them and leave them blank, or do i put something into them?
