StuffBee: Massively Deployed Give & Take

Postby wazabe » Thu Apr 17, 2008 6:44 pm

Hello World, :D

STUFFBEE is a free "GIVE & TAKE" application that addresses multiple issues:
- Save time of persons that are willing to give their redundant/unused objects to others,
- Save money of persons in the need of objects in their area,
- Increase interaction between different people classes,
- Avoid recycling by giving your old stuff a second chance.

We invite you to showcase an alpha version of the demonstration of StuffBee here:
http://www.stuffbee.com/en/screencast.htm

We choose to develop this application because we trust that if StuffBee is used massively, it can have a deep positive impact on our society.

While designing StuffBee we took the greatest care in creating a totally asynchronous solution that showcase the incredible user experience that you may enjoy with Android.

Compared to existing “GIVE & TAKE” solutions, StuffBee fix the following issues:
- No need of a computer and camera, just use one piece of hardware: your mobile.
- StuffBee has been optimised to provide givers with the best Stuff publisher ever made for a “give and take” solution.
- It is kind of “alive” and gives you “instant feedback” on what you are seeking or giving. A full transaction can be accomplished in less than one minute.
- It provides an efficient way to track actions/questions on items.
- StuffBee displays only “live” and “available” objects in your geographical area (10 miles by default).
- Stuff are unpublished instantly in a few clicks, no more useless due to out of date classified ad :D
- …

Enjoy the show, we look forward to see your wise comments to help us deliver the best Mobile Give & Take solution ever realized and we hope to count you as part of this "new huge give and take community", your community.
