I've decided to make a plain simple casual memory game in the purpose of trying out new game effects and to post some code snippets here promised to a user.

If you got some time to spare and have a G1 on your hands, please "sign up" for beta testing. :D
Signing up is done by sending me a PM.

Looks pretty good, but I don't think Fox will allow you to sell this game...

Still, even free stuff isn't allowed to break copyrights or trademarks or what ever. Though it'll probably attrackt not that much of attention from them.

Hmmm.. perhaps I just write a disclaimer in the game stating that all gfx used are so called "free" from the Internet and that I have no reason to suspect otherwise.

Inside the game there is also a text saying the game is 100% free, i.e. I'm not out for profit from other peoples work!
If they find any laws broken or copyright issue violated in this game they might as well go after millions of other sites... :)

Ok, almost done!
Before I make any final changes some of you might wanna give it a go and test it?

It seems really hard to get people sign up as beta-testers, so I'll post the app in it's current status here along with a form to respond to when testing.

Serious testers giving valuable feedback will be credited in the game.
Any input is highly appreciated!

Hi again,

Giving life to an old thread which haven't gotten that many responses. The feedback I did get was that releasing anything with "borrowed" gfx from FOX/Simpsons is like asking for trouble regardless of commercial interest.

Therefore a new atempt is made, i.e. new graphics, new features and new beta testers needed.
Don't know if it's my games that stink or the general lack of interest in helping out by testing a game (responses doesn't exactly fill up the inbox, so to speak :P ).

If this is the inapproporate forum to ask for such help, please feel free to respond.
I don't wanna waste anybodys time, especially my own!!

If your interested, please PM or mail. A good effort will be credited in the game...
(Game isn't 100% finished, but user feedback is better before than after a release... )

Yes it's a "LCD" scroller using a C64 font. It doesn't get nerdier that that!

The game doesn't come with any tunes. You just choose your own. Whatever turns you on. ;)
