RingControl is an Android app that controls your phone's ringer mode based on its physical position. For example, you can set it to put the phone in "vibrate" mode when upside-down in your pocket, or "silent" mode when lying face-down on a desk.
The paid version of RingControl lets you pick people from your contacts list who, when they call, will cause your phone to ring normally, regardless of the RingControl setting. It features a "Shake to Wake" setting that lets you wake up your phone's display while in a call by shaking the phone.
The latest version, 1.0.8, adds a "vibrate-then-ring" feature that a few people were asking for (works like vibe-then-ring on a Motorola V300).
RingControl 1.0.8 also adds SMS commands. This feature lets you call your phone to get its GPS location in case you lose it, as well as telling the phone to call you, call other phones, turn the speaker on and off, control music/voice/ringer/system-sound volume, and more.
