In Paper Galaxy, you control the moon (she’s named Luna) as she travels across a whimsical paper-craft universe to get back home to mother Earth. Along the way, her stardust allergies flare up and she draws the ire of a surly Crab Nebula. But she’s got pluck and with a trusty tappin’ finger to help out, she might make it home. It’s kinda sorta a mix of endless runner, launch, action and upgrades built around a one-tap control scheme that makes it easy for kids of all ages to play.

So how else does Paper Galaxy stand out?
For one thing, I think Paper Galaxy’s art style is a force for good in the universe. It has been known to make even very cranky people smile. Same with its audio design. We’ve found that playing the game turns our devices into a virtual pied piper – children (of all ages) come flocking over to see what’s going on. As for the game play, we started with a simple mechanic, a one-tap control scheme and built around that until we felt we’d struck a good balance between ease-of-use and strategic complexity. It’s good family fun but is deceptively challenging.
