OpenTTD for Android

Postby ErikAndre » Thu Aug 26, 2010 11:53 am

Hi All!

I have just made the first binary release of OpenTTD for Android, available here for download (with full source):

http://code.google.com/p/openttd-android/

This is a port of Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe compiled using the Android NDK with some modiifications
made to make it more playable on touch screen devices.

The compiled release is set up for 854x480 landscape resolution but other resolutions are playable
(probably nothing below 640x480 tho).

What works
* Starting a game
* Building stuff
* Save & Load

Whats broken
* Sound and music
* Networking, including in-game content download and multiplayer
* AI, so no opponents yet.
* Quitting the game might crash (restart) your phone.

I have mostly been testing this on the emulator so real world feedback is very welcome!
