How to increase Emulator's memory?

Postby sheikh.aman » Thu May 13, 2010 9:13 am

Hi.
I am in a situation where i have to bundle a lot of videos with my apk. and they make it very huge.
normally 150MB.
when i install it on my emulator, the emulator runs out of memory and the app is not even uploaded.

how will i test if it remains so!?!

some had said to increase the -Xms memory in eclipse.ini, but it didnt work.
some said to "wipe all user data" before starting, that, too, didn't help.

i get this error:
Installation error: INSTALL_FAILED_INSUFFICIENT_STORAGE

any solutions?

Hi,
I've got the same problem.
Did you find a solution?

Some people on forums advise a download of large resources at first launch, but it's pretty ugly, and don't solve the emulator problem.

If you've found any tips, it 'd be great.

Thanks
Alan
